Thermoo Patches Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
What does Thermoo Patches actually do?
It's a compatibility addon for Thermoo-based temperature mods like Frostiful and Scorchful. It makes temperature mechanics work correctly alongside other mods, especially HUD mods, seasons, space, and origins mods.
How do I get temperature to show on my HUD?
Install a supported HUD mod such as Armor Points++ with libhud, Colorful Hearts, or Overflowing Bars. Thermoo Patches will detect it and add the temperature display automatically.
Do I need to install every integration?
No. Each patch is modular and only activates when the related mod is present. You can leave the whole mod installed and it will only hook into the mods you actually have.
Why isn't temperature showing on my HUD?
Check that a supported HUD mod is installed and enabled, and that the relevant integration is active. If the HUD mod is missing or disabled, the temperature display won't appear.
Does Thermoo Patches work with seasons mods?
Yes. It connects temperature behavior to season systems so that heat and cold change with the season instead of staying static. This only activates if a compatible seasons mod is installed.
Can I use this with space or dimension mods?
Yes. Thermoo Patches integrates temperature with space environments, so being in space or other extreme dimensions affects your temperature as expected. The integration only turns on when the related mod is present.
Does it work with Origins mods?
Yes. It links temperature behavior to origins so that origin traits affecting heat or cold are respected. This patch is optional and only runs if an origins mod is installed.
Will Thermoo Patches crash my game if I don't have a mod it supports?
No. Integrations are modular and optional, so missing mods simply mean those patches stay inactive. This design is specifically meant to avoid crashes in mixed modpacks.
Does Thermoo Patches affect performance?
It's a lightweight compatibility layer, so performance impact is minimal. It only does work for the integrations that are actually active in your pack.
How do I choose which integrations to enable in a modpack?
You generally don't need to toggle anything manually — integrations activate based on which supported mods are installed. If you want to slim things down, remove the HUD, seasons, space, or origins mods you don't need and the matching patches will stay off.
