How to Enable Temperature Display on Your HUD with Thermoo Patches
Thermoo Patches does not add its own HUD element. Instead, it patches existing HUD mods so they can read temperature data from Thermoo-based mods like Frostiful and Scorchful. To see temperature on screen, you need one of the supported HUD mods installed alongside Thermoo Patches.
Supported HUD Integrations
- Armor Points++ / libhud: shows both the raw temperature value and a temperature percentage. libhud must be present for this integration to work.
- Colorful Hearts: renders temperature information alongside the heart display.
- Overflowing Bars: adds temperature readout to its bar overlay.
Install any one of these (or several) and Thermoo Patches will detect them automatically. No config toggle is usually needed for the patch itself to activate — it only fires when the target mod is present, which is why it stays crash-safe in mixed modpacks.
Verifying It Works
1. Enter a world with a Thermoo temperature mod active.
2. Move into a hot or cold biome, or stand near a heat/cold source.
3. Watch the HUD element from your chosen mod — the temperature value should change as your body temperature shifts.
4. If nothing appears, confirm the HUD mod is actually loaded and that its own display options are enabled in its config.
If two HUD mods both show temperature, that is expected — each patch is independent.
