Fixing Temperature Not Showing or Not Changing on the HUD
If temperature is missing from your HUD or stuck at a fixed value after installing Thermoo Patches, the cause is almost always a missing dependency or a disabled integration rather than a bug in the patch itself.
Check Dependencies First
Thermoo Patches only patches mods that are actually present. If you want the Armor Points++ / libhud readout, libhud must be installed — without it that specific patch does nothing. Likewise, Colorful Hearts and Overflowing Bars must each be installed for their respective integrations to appear.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
1. Confirm you have a Thermoo-based temperature mod (Frostiful or Scorchful) active — Thermoo Patches has nothing to display without one.
2. Confirm the HUD mod you expect the readout from is loaded.
3. Open the HUD mod's own config and make sure its display is not hidden or set to a mode that omits extra info.
4. Open the Thermoo Patches config and verify the matching integration toggle is enabled.
5. Re-enter the world (some HUD patches only re-register on world load).
6. Move between extreme temperatures to force a value change — a stable temperature in a mild biome may simply look static.
If the value shows but never moves, the issue is usually the temperature mod's own settings, not the patch.
