Choosing Which Thermoo Patches Integrations to Enable in a Modpack

Thermoo Patches is modular by design: every integration is optional and only activates when its target mod is installed. That makes it safe to drop into a large modpack, but you still want to be deliberate about what you enable so the HUD does not get cluttered and behavior stays predictable.

Decide Based on Your HUD Mod

Pick at most one or two HUD integrations to avoid duplicate temperature readouts. If you use Armor Points++ with libhud, that gives you both a raw value and a percentage. Colorful Hearts and Overflowing Bars are alternatives if you already rely on those for your health or bar display.

Decide Based on Your Other Mods

  • Enable the seasons integration only if you run a seasons mod.
  • Enable the space/dimension integration only if you have dimensions that should be lethally hot or cold.
  • Enable the origins integration only if you use an origins-style mod with temperature-affecting powers.
  • Enable the special-mob integration if you want heat/cold-radiating mobs to matter.

Practical Setup Order

1. Install Thermoo Patches plus your temperature mod.

2. Add the HUD mod you prefer.

3. Launch once to generate configs.

4. Enable only the integrations whose parent mods are installed.

5. Playtest in a hot and a cold area to confirm the readout and effects behave as intended.

Leaving unused integrations off keeps logs clean and avoids confusion.
