Restore fog in specific dimensions or biomes
Using mod configuration files
While Nofog Mod removes fog globally by default, you can selectively restore it in certain areas by editing the mod's configuration file.
1. Navigate to your Minecraft config folder (usually .minecraft/config)
2. Locate the Nofog configuration file
3. Open it with a text editor
4. Look for dimension or biome-specific settings
5. Adjust the fog removal toggle for specific dimensions (like the Nether or End) or biome types
6. Save the file and reload your world
Why you might want fog back
Some players prefer fog in certain situations—it can enhance atmosphere in dark caves or the Nether, or improve performance in resource-heavy areas. Restoring fog selectively lets you balance visibility with immersion.
If no configuration options exist for selective fog removal, you may need to choose between full fog removal or reinstalling the mod.
