The Invader Model FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I spawn an Alien mob?
Use the MythicMobs command `/mm spawn Alien ` at your location, or set up a spawner using MythicMobs configuration files to spawn them naturally in your world. Make sure both Model Engine and MythicMobs are reloaded after installation.
What do the Alien mob's four skills do?
The Alien mob uses four distinct combat skills that enhance its fighting ability and create dynamic encounters; refer to the Understand Alien Combat Skills guide for detailed breakdowns of each skill's mechanics and when they trigger during combat.
Can I spawn the UFO mob indoors or in small spaces?
The UFO mob is large and requires open space to spawn and move effectively; attempting to spawn it in confined areas may cause collision issues or unexpected behavior. Spawn UFOs in open biomes or large arenas for the best experience.
Do I need both Model Engine and MythicMobs or just one?
You need both plugins installed—Model Engine handles the custom mob models and animations, while MythicMobs powers the AI behavior and skill system. The mod will not function properly without either one.
Why aren't my Aliens spawning after I installed the mod?
Ensure you've placed the Invader Model files in the correct Model Engine and MythicMobs folders, then run `/meg reload` and `/mm reload` to apply the changes. Verify both plugins are installed and enabled on your server.
Can I customize the Alien or UFO mob's behavior?
Yes, you can edit the MythicMobs configuration files to adjust skills, AI behavior, and combat mechanics; the Model Engine files control appearance and animations. Refer to the MythicMobs and Model Engine documentation for customization syntax.
What Minecraft version do I need to run this mod?
The Invader Model requires Java Edition 1.14 or higher; check that your server version meets this minimum requirement before installation.
Do Aliens and UFOs drop loot when defeated?
Loot drops are configured through MythicMobs; check your MythicMobs configuration files to see what each mob is set to drop, or customize the drops to suit your server.
Will this mod cause server lag?
The advanced AI and custom models can impact performance depending on how many mobs spawn simultaneously; limit spawner rates or the number of active mobs to maintain server stability, especially on lower-end hardware.
Can I use this mod on a single-player world?
No, the Invader Model requires the Model Engine and MythicMobs plugins, which only work on multiplayer servers; single-player worlds cannot run server plugins.
