Move Leashed Animals Through Fence Gates

Leading Animals Past Gates

While the mod prevents unleashed animals from escaping, leashed animals can pass through fence gates normally. This lets you transport specific animals in and out of pens.

Moving a Leashed Animal

1. Attach a lead to your animal using a lead item

2. Hold the lead and approach an open fence gate

3. The leashed animal will follow you through the gate

4. Unleashed animals in the same area will remain behind

This selective passage is useful for moving animals between pens, transporting them to new locations, or separating specific creatures from a group. The leash overrides the mod's containment behavior, giving you full control over which animals leave an enclosure.
