Do I need to leash every animal to keep them in a pen?
No. By default, unleashed animals simply cannot pass through fence gates, so they'll stay penned even when you open the gate. You only need to leash animals if you want to move them through fence gates.
How do I get a leashed animal through a fence gate?
Lead the leashed animal toward the open fence gate and it will pass through normally. The mod recognizes leashed mobs as an exception and allows them to cross the gate boundary.
Why are my animals still escaping through the fence gate?
Check the troubleshooting guide—this usually happens if the mod hasn't loaded correctly, or if you're using custom mobs that the mod doesn't recognize by default. You may need to adjust the configuration file for those specific mobs.
Does this work with all types of fences and gates?
