How Unleashed Animals Stay Contained

The Fence Unleashed Mod automatically prevents any animal that isn't leashed from passing through fence gates. This means you can open and close gates freely without worrying about escape.

Setting Up Your Pen

1. Build your enclosure using any type of fence and fence gate

2. Place animals inside—no leashing required for containment

3. Open or close the gate as needed; unleashed animals will not pass through

4. Only leashed animals can move through open gates

This works with all vanilla animals (cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, horses) and most modded creatures. The mod uses an algorithmic approach to detect whether an entity should be allowed through, so behavior is automatic and requires no setup.
