Build and Maintain a Log Cabin
Preparing Your Logs
Before building, your logs need preparation. Use an adze tool to peel the bark off each log—this is essential for proper cabin construction. After peeling, place the debarked logs into a wood pile block. The wood pile lets logs dry over time, which improves their structural integrity for building.
Constructing Cabin Walls
Once dried, logs are ready for placement. The mod features corner blocks that lock together perfectly, creating authentic log cabin corners without gaps. Stack your prepared logs horizontally, using the corner pieces at intersections. This interlocking system ensures stability and a finished appearance.
Finishing Your Build
Continue stacking until you reach your desired height. The corner locking mechanism handles alignment automatically, so you don't need to worry about precise placement. Fill in walls between corners with standard logs, and add a roof using your preferred roofing material. Your cabin is now complete and ready for furnishing.
