Find and Explore Mountain Biomes in Your World

Locating Mountains

Use the /locate biome command to find TerraFirmaCraft mountain biomes in your world. Type /locate biome tfc:mountains to get the coordinates of the nearest mountain range. This is the fastest way to see the mod's terrain generation in action without wandering aimlessly.

Traveling to Your Peak

Once you have coordinates, use /tp to teleport there, or travel on foot if you prefer the journey. When you arrive, take note of the peak height and slope width. This gives you a baseline for how the current config settings look in your world. If the mountains feel too steep, too wide, or not tall enough, you now have a reference point for adjusting the mod's settings.

Saving Your Seed

Before making any config changes, write down your world seed. This lets you regenerate the same terrain later if you want to compare different scale settings side-by-side. You can find your seed in the world settings menu or by typing /seed in-game.
