Adjust Mountain Height and Width Through Config
Editing Configuration Files
Locate the TFC Mantle Mountains config file in your mod folder (typically in config/ directory). Open it with a text editor and find the vertical scale and horizontal scale settings.
Tuning Vertical Scale
The vertical scale controls how tall your peaks reach. Higher values make mountains taller. Keep this value below 6.0 to avoid terrain clipping into the world ceiling at 1024 blocks. If peaks look cut off or flat-topped, lower this value. If mountains feel stubby, increase it gradually.
Tuning Horizontal Scale
Horizontal scale determines how wide mountain ridges spread and how gradual their slopes are. Higher values create broader, more sprawling mountains with gentler slopes. Lower values make peaks steeper and more compact. Start with small adjustments (0.1–0.5 increments) and regenerate terrain to see the effect. Save your config, then create a new world or use a world backup to test changes.
