Where do I find the preview button?
Open Singleplayer, click Create New World, then look for the More tab at the top of the creation screen. The preview button is located there.
Can I preview a world without actually creating it?
Yes, that's the main purpose of this mod. You can preview terrain, biomes, climate, and rocks as many times as you want before clicking Save or Apply to generate the actual world.
How do I test different seeds?
Enter a seed value in the world creation screen, then open the preview to see that seed's generation. You can adjust the seed and preview again instantly to compare different results.
What does the Spawn Overlay show me?
The Spawn Overlay highlights where you'll spawn when you first enter the world, helping you verify the starting location is suitable before committing to world generation.
Can I see underground rocks before generating the world?
Yes, switch to the Rocks Visualizer mode in the preview to see stone layer distributions and rock types across different regions before you start mining.
How do I copy a seed I like from the preview?
The preview menu has a button to copy the current seed directly to your clipboard with one click, so you can save or share it easily.
Does adjusting continentalness in the preview affect my actual world?
Only if you click Save after adjusting it. If you just want to preview changes without keeping them, click Cancel to return to your original settings.
Can I use this mod with other TerraFirmaCraft addons?
This mod works with TerraFirmaCraft itself, but compatibility with specific addons depends on whether they modify world generation. Check with individual addon creators if you're using multiple mods together.
Why is the preview taking a long time to load?
Large map previews or high-resolution visualizations can take time to generate. Try reducing the preview size or checking your system performance if it's consistently slow.

No, you switch between different visualizer modes one at a time, but you can quickly flip between Temperature, Rainfall, and other modes to compare different aspects of the same seed.
