Balance Custom Gear by Adjusting Attribute Multipliers

Extract Base Stats from Materials

In your module's extract section, you control how much of a material's base stats transfer to the final item. Use multipliers like 0.9 (90% of material stat) or 1.2 (120% boost):

`json

"extract": {

"primaryAttributes": { "generic.attack_damage": 1.0 },

"durability": 0.85,

"magicCapacity": 1.1

}

`

Layer Context Bonuses On Top

Context attributes are *added* to extracted stats, not multiplied. Define them separately in your material's contexts:

`json

"contexts": {

"balanced": {

"attributes": { "generic.attack_speed": 1.5 }

}

}

`

Test and Iterate

Craft test items and check their stats in-game. Adjust extract multipliers to control base power, and use contexts attributes for fine-tuning. This two-layer approach gives you precise control: materials set the foundation, contexts add specialized bonuses for specific slots or roles.
