Locate Real-World Coordinates in Your Minecraft World

Finding Your Location

Terrarium Expanded generates Minecraft terrain based on actual Earth coordinates. Your spawn point and explored chunks correspond to real geographic locations.

Use the mod's coordinate system to identify where you are on Earth. The world is generated using real elevation and biome data, so mountains, rivers, and coastlines match actual geography.

Navigating to Specific Places

If you want to explore a real-world location—a famous mountain range, desert, or island—determine its coordinates and travel to the corresponding Minecraft position. The terrain you find will reflect that region's actual elevation, climate biome, and water features.

Keep in mind that your zoom level affects scale. At Zoom 10, distances are compressed compared to real-world measurements. Plan your journey accounting for the block-to-meter ratio of your chosen zoom level.

Use external maps or geographic data to identify interesting real-world locations, then navigate there in-game to experience Minecraft versions of Earth's actual landscapes.
