Scout Your World Before Building

Access the Web Explorer

Before committing to a base location, use the built-in map explorer to survey your entire world.

1. Once you've loaded into your Terrain Diffusion world, open the chat and run /td-explore

2. The game will provide a browser link—copy and paste it into your web browser

3. You'll see an interactive map showing your entire generated continent

Reading the Map Data

The web interface displays elevation and temperature information as overlays. Use these to identify ideal locations:

  • Elevation data shows mountain peaks (higher terrain appears brighter) and valleys (darker areas). Look for plateaus or foothills if you want accessible building spots
  • Temperature data reveals climate zones. Warmer areas (reds/oranges) will spawn different biomes than cold zones (blues)
  • Terrain features like forests, deserts, and snow-capped peaks are visible from above

Zoom in on promising regions to see fine details. This lets you plan your base location, find resources, and avoid dangerous terrain before you spawn.
