Adjust World Scale for Your Playstyle
Understanding World Scale
World Scale determines how many real-world meters each Minecraft block represents. This dramatically changes how your landscape feels.
Setting Your Preferred Scale
1. When creating a new world, select Terrain Diffusion as your world type
2. Click the Customize button
3. Adjust the World Scale slider to your preference:
- Smaller scale (fewer meters per block): Mountains and valleys are compressed, terrain feels more compact and easier to traverse
- Larger scale (more meters per block): Landscapes are massive and spread out, creating truly epic mountains and vast distances
Choosing Your Scale
Consider your goals. If you want dramatic, towering peaks that take significant effort to climb, use a larger scale. If you prefer terrain that's more navigable and less overwhelming, choose a smaller scale. Remember: this setting is locked when you create the world, so choose carefully before generating.
