Unlock Special Item Skills Using Cores

Finding Charybdis Cores

Three powerful skills—Magic Jamming, Ultra Regeneration, and Gravity Manipulation—require Charybdis Cores to unlock. These are rare drops, so plan your farming strategy carefully.

Consuming Cores for Skills

1. Defeat Charybdis or locate its cores through exploration or mob drops.

2. Open your subordinate's Skills menu and locate the skill you want to unlock.

3. The skill will show a requirement for one Charybdis Core.

4. Have your follower consume the core—this immediately unlocks the ability.

5. The skill will appear in their learned abilities list and can be toggled on or off.

Choosing Which Skills to Unlock

Since cores are limited, prioritize based on your team's needs:

• Magic Jamming disrupts enemy spellcasting
• Ultra Regeneration provides superior healing compared to Self Regeneration
• Gravity Manipulation offers crowd control and positioning advantages

Consider your follower's role and current skill gaps before spending a core. You can always unlock more skills later as you gather additional cores.
