Maximize Your Follower's Combat Effectiveness

Selecting the Right Skills

Not every skill works for every situation. Your followers can know many abilities, but only active skills contribute to combat. Use the Skills menu to enable moves that match your current challenge.

Building a Combat Strategy

1. Check your follower's mastery levels in the Skills tab—higher mastery means better performance.

2. Enable Strength and Steel Strength for raw damage output (both require EP and enemy defeats).

3. Add Strengthen Body if your follower takes heavy damage—it improves defense through combat experience.

4. Layer in utility skills like Paralysis (from Evil Centipedes) or Poison (from Spiders) to control enemy behavior.

5. For sustained fights, enable Self Regeneration (unlocked via Slime hunting) to keep your follower alive.

Fine-Tuning Your Team

Different followers may excel at different roles. Assign healing abilities to one subordinate and offensive skills to another. Toggle skills on and off before battles to adapt to enemy types. Check the progress bars regularly—new skill unlocks can dramatically shift your team's power.
