Use Teleport Requests in Multiplayer Servers

Setting Up on a Server

The datapack works on any Minecraft server without requiring plugins or operator permissions. The server administrator simply needs to add the datapack to the server's datapack folder and restart the server.

How It Works for All Players

Every player on the server can use /trigger TPA to send requests to any other online player. No one needs special permissions—it's available to everyone equally. This makes it ideal for survival servers where you want to allow player cooperation without giving out OP status.

Server Considerations

The datapack uses only vanilla Minecraft commands, so it won't conflict with other plugins or datapacks. Multiple players can send and receive requests simultaneously without issues.

Player Etiquette

Consider establishing server rules about teleport requests. Some servers prefer players to ask permission before sending requests, while others allow free use. The datapack itself doesn't enforce any restrictions—it's up to your community to decide acceptable usage.

The system is lightweight and won't impact server performance.
