Enable or Disable Swimming in Configuration

Locating the Mod Configuration

Take it Slow Mod includes optional swimming restrictions. To adjust this setting:

1. Navigate to your mod configuration folder (typically config/ in your game directory)

2. Find the Take it Slow configuration file

3. Open it with a text editor

Toggling Swimming

The mod allows you to optionally disable swimming entirely. If enabled:

• Players cannot swim in water
• Water becomes a barrier rather than a traversable medium
• Drowning occurs normally when submerged

If disabled:

• Swimming remains available at normal speed
• Water travel is possible but not faster than walking

Applying Changes

Save your configuration file and restart your game or server. Changes take effect immediately on next load. In multiplayer, all players must have matching settings for consistent gameplay.
