Load Custom Accessories from Resource Packs

Prepare Your Resource Pack

Custom community accessories can be added to the mod through resource packs. Ensure your resource pack is properly formatted and placed in your resource packs folder.

Enable the Resource Pack

Open your world or server settings and activate the resource pack containing custom accessories. The mod will automatically detect and load compatible custom parts when you next open the Tails Editor.

Access Custom Parts in the Editor

Press Escape and open the Tails Editor. Navigate to the relevant category (tails, wings, ears, etc.) and look for new options that weren't available before. Custom accessories often appear as additional subtypes or textures within existing categories, or as entirely new part options depending on how the resource pack was designed.

Customize and Apply

Select your custom accessory and adjust its colors using the color pickers if desired. Click Apply to equip it. Your custom parts will be visible to other players on multiplayer servers that also have the resource pack installed, ensuring everyone sees your unique style.
