Disable Your Own Bullet Tracers for Better Visibility

Why Disable Personal Bullet Effects

Bullet tracers and shell casings from your own shots can obstruct your view, especially during intense firefights. Hiding them gives you a clearer sight line to your targets while maintaining the visual feedback you need to know you're shooting.

Steps to Turn Off Your Bullet Visuals

1. Exit Minecraft

2. Go to .minecraft/config and open tacz_optimization-client.toml

3. Search for settings related to your own bullets—look for options like render_own_bullets, render_own_tracers, or render_bullet_casings

4. Set these to false

5. Save the file and launch the game

What Remains

Disabling your bullet visuals doesn't affect gameplay mechanics. You'll still deal damage, hear gunfire sounds, and see hit markers or damage numbers. Only the graphical bullet trails and shell casings disappear from your view. This is especially useful in close-quarters combat where visual clarity matters most.
