Clean Up Your HUD to Reduce Screen Clutter

Customize Your Interface

The TaCZ mod adds several screen elements like ammo counters, heat indicators, kill feeds, and interaction prompts. If these distract you or take up valuable screen space, you can selectively disable them.

Steps to Hide HUD Elements

1. Close your game

2. Open .minecraft/config/tacz_optimization-client.toml

3. Look for HUD-related settings such as render_ammo_counter, render_heat_bar, render_kill_feed, or render_interaction_prompt

4. Change any you want hidden from true to false

5. Save and restart Minecraft

Mix and Match

You don't have to hide everything. For example, you might keep your ammo counter visible but turn off the kill feed, or disable the heat bar but keep interaction buttons. Each setting is independent, so experiment to find the layout that works best for your playstyle. Changes take effect immediately after you restart the game.
