Understand Shell Casing Ejection Patterns by Weapon Type
How Different Weapons Eject Casings
Not all firearms drop casings the same way. Understanding ejection patterns helps you predict where spent brass will land and makes combat feel more authentic.
Automatic and Semi-Automatic Weapons
Rifles and pistols eject casings immediately after each shot. The casing pops out to the side with spin and velocity, then bounces and rolls across the ground. Rapid fire creates scattered piles of brass.
Manual Action Weapons
Bolt-action rifles and lever-action rifles hold onto the casing in the chamber. You must manually cycle the bolt or lever to eject it—the casing drops during this action, not during the shot itself. This creates a deliberate, slower ejection pattern.
Shotguns and Revolvers
Shotguns drop spent shells during manual reload animations. Revolvers also eject during reload, not after each trigger pull. Watch the reload sequence to see casings fall.
Trajectory Adjustments
The mod adjusts ejection angles based on your weapon's design. Check your firing range to observe how your specific firearms behave—this helps you predict casing locations during intense combat.
