Manage Magazine Drops During Extended Combat

Why Magazines Pile Up

Every reload—whether intentional or from firing an empty magazine—drops a physical magazine entity. During prolonged firefights, these accumulate on the ground and can clutter your view.

Controlling Magazine Clutter

1. Reload strategically to minimize unnecessary magazine drops. Only reload when you actually need ammunition.

2. Use extended magazine attachments if your weapons support them. The mod renders the correct extended model, and you'll reload less frequently.

3. Pick up dropped magazines as you move through your firing area. They stack in inventory like normal items.

4. Designate a magazine storage area near your ammunition station to keep your combat zone clear.

Magazine Physics

Empty magazines fall, spin, and bounce with full gravity physics before settling. They won't disappear on their own, so manual cleanup is necessary if you want a tidy battlefield.

Custom Gunpack Compatibility

If you're using custom gunpacks like Classics Reborn or Hare Tactics Pack, each weapon's magazine model is automatically rendered when dropped. Larger magazines from these packs will be more visually obvious on the ground, making them easier to spot and collect.
