Set Up Custom Armor Models and Stats
Create Your Armor Pack Folder
Navigate to your Minecraft folder, then open the Tacz directory. Create a new folder with a descriptive name for your armor pack (for example, my_tactical_gear).
Define Armor Properties
Inside your folder, create configuration files that define:
- Which armor piece this is (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots)
- Bullet piercing resistance values
- Damage reduction percentages
- Custom model textures and appearance
The mod uses a simple folder-based system, so you don't need to write code—just organize your files correctly.
Load Your Pack Into the Game
Once your armor pack is ready, use the command /tacz reload or /jagtaczarmor reload in-game to load all custom armor packs from your Tacz folder. The mod will scan for new packs automatically.
Test Your Armor
Equip your custom armor and test it in combat. Fire bullets at yourself or have another player shoot you to verify that deflection and damage reduction work as intended. Adjust your configuration values if needed and reload again.
