TACZ Juggernaut Armoury Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I start using tactical armor in this mod?
Equip any armor piece in your inventory—the mod applies its bullet-blocking stats to standard Minecraft armor and gear from other mods automatically. You don't need special items; the protection system activates as soon as you wear armor.
What's the difference between bullet deflection and damage reduction?
Bullet deflection stops a bullet completely if your armor is stronger than the bullet's piercing power, so you take no damage. Damage reduction kicks in when a strong bullet penetrates your armor—it absorbs a lot of the remaining damage instead of you taking the full hit.
Can bullets hit me in places where I'm not wearing armor?
Yes—the mod traces the exact path of every bullet and checks which body part it hits. If a bullet strikes your legs but you're only wearing a chest plate, you'll take full damage to your legs.
How do I add custom armor models to the mod?
Create folders inside your Tacz folder with your armor stats and model files—the mod lets you add custom gear without writing code. Use the `/tacz reload` or `/jagtaczarmor reload` command to load your custom armor packs into the game.
Do tactical helmets do anything special besides protect my head?
Yes—different tactical helmets display custom overlays on your screen when you wear them, giving you a unique visual effect during combat.
Why do I feel my camera shake when I get shot?
The mod adds camera shake on impact to show the real force of being hit, making gunfights feel more intense and giving you feedback when bullets strike your armor.
Does this mod work with armor from other mods?
Yes—the mod applies its bullet-blocking stats to normal Minecraft armor and gear from other mods, so your existing armor automatically gains protection mechanics.
What happens if my armor isn't strong enough to stop a bullet?
The bullet penetrates and you take damage, but your armor still reduces how much damage you receive based on its durability and stats.
Do I need to do anything special to reload my custom armor after editing it?
No—just use `/tacz reload` or `/jagtaczarmor reload` to load your updated armor packs into the game without restarting.
Can I see exactly where a bullet hit me on my armor?
The mod calculates the exact hit location on your helmet, chest, legs, or boots, but visual bullet impact markers depend on your armor model—check your custom armor's configuration to add visual feedback.
