Manage Damage Transfer Between Body Parts
Understanding Cascade Damage
When a bullet destroys a limb (arm or leg), the excess damage doesn't disappear—it transfers to your torso. However, some energy is lost in the transfer process, so you take slightly less damage than if you'd been shot in the chest directly.
Foot and Leg Damage Flow
Damage to your feet first transfers to your legs. If your leg health is already depleted, remaining damage then moves up to your torso. This creates a chain: feet → legs → torso.
Explosion Damage Behavior
Explosions work differently than bullets. All excess damage from a blast bypasses limbs entirely and goes straight to your main body (torso). The closer you are to the explosion center, the more damage each body part receives, but limb destruction won't cascade outward like it does with bullets.
Strategic Implications
Understand these rules when deciding whether to prioritize healing limbs or your torso during combat.
