Configuring Damage Calculation Methods
The Tactical Kinetic Flux Mod calculates weapon-specific damage bonuses in three different ways, controlled through the taa-attributes.toml file.
MAX uses whichever is higher: your base gun damage multiplier or your weapon-class-specific bonus. ADDITIVE stacks weapon-specific bonuses directly on top of base damage. MULTIPLICATIVE multiplies your base gun damage by the weapon-specific bonus value.
Choose the calculation method that fits your desired balance. For example, MAX prevents overstacking, ADDITIVE gives predictable flat bonuses, and MULTIPLICATIVE creates scaling where stronger base damage benefits more from weapon-specific upgrades. Adjust this setting to control how different damage attributes interact with each firearm class.
