Place Blocks and Items on Top of Tables

Entering Edit Mode

Tables & Chairs 2 includes an edit mode that lets you place blocks and items on table surfaces as if they were regular blocks. This is useful for decorating tables with food, books, or other decorative items.

To enter edit mode:

1. Left-click on the table-top with any item in your hand

2. The table briefly enters edit mode

3. You now have a window to place blocks or items on the surface

Placing Items While Shifting

For best results when decorating:

1. Hold Shift (sneak)

2. While shifting and in edit mode, place your blocks or items on the table surface

3. Items will sit on top of the table as if it were a solid block

4. This works with food, decorations, books, and other small objects

Tips

Edit mode is temporary, so work quickly. Use this feature to create detailed table settings in restaurants, libraries, or homes. Breaking the table will remove any placed items.
