How do I sit on a chair?
Right click on any chair to sit down. You'll remain seated until you press your sneak key (default Shift) or move, which will dismount you.
How do I rotate a chair?
Hold Shift and right click on the chair to rotate it. Each click will turn the chair to face a different direction.
Can I move a chair after placing it?
Yes—hold Shift and left click on the chair to pick it up and move it to a new location without destroying it.
How do I destroy a chair?
Left click the chair twice in quick succession to break it and collect it as an item.
How do I connect tables together?
Place tables next to each other and they will automatically connect into a single larger table. If you want to prevent this, hold Shift while placing the table.
How do I break a table?
Hold left click on the table-top with a proper tool (like an axe or pickaxe) until it breaks—single clicks won't work.
Can I put blocks and items on top of tables?
Yes—left click the table-top with any item to enter edit mode, then hold Shift and place blocks or items on it as if it were a normal surface.
How do I add a carpet layer to a chair?
Right click on the chair while holding a carpet block to add a custom carpet layer on top. Right click again with shears to remove it, or break the chair entirely.
Will this mod lag my server or world?
No—Tables & Chairs 2 is designed to be performance-friendly and shouldn't cause lag even with many chairs and tables placed.
Do I need any special items or recipes to craft chairs and tables?
The mod provides chairs and tables as functional blocks; refer to your mod's specific crafting guide or creative menu for how to obtain them in your world.
