Adjust TAA Intensity and Motion Blur Settings
Access Shader Options
Open your shader settings menu while in-game. This is typically accessed through your shader mod's configuration screen (usually via a key binding or through the Video Settings menu, depending on your loader).
Fine-Tune Anti-Aliasing Strength
Look for TAA-related sliders in the shader options. You can adjust:
- TAA Strength: Controls how aggressively the temporal anti-aliasing smooths jagged edges. Lower values preserve more detail but may show more aliasing; higher values create smoother edges but can introduce ghosting artifacts.
- Motion Blur: If available, adjust this separately to control camera movement blur. Disable it entirely if you experience discomfort or prefer crisp movement.
Test Your Changes
Walk around your world, especially near distant blocks and thin structures like fences or leaves. Look for a balance where edges feel smooth without appearing blurry or leaving trailing artifacts behind moving objects. Most players find moderate TAA strength works best for vanilla-style gameplay.
If you notice ghosting (objects leaving trails), reduce TAA strength slightly. If aliasing (jagged edges) is still visible, increase it gradually.
