Enable Distant Horizons Rendering in TAA Shaders

Prerequisites

Make sure you have both the Distant Horizons mod and TAA Distant Horizons Port Shaders installed and active in your mod loader.

Activation Steps

1. Launch Minecraft with both mods loaded.

2. Open the Shader Settings menu (usually accessed via the Shader Options button in Video Settings).

3. Look for settings related to Distant Horizons or "DH" support—these should be present in the TAA shader configuration.

4. Enable the Distant Horizons rendering option. This toggles shader support for chunks loaded by the Distant Horizons mod.

5. Adjust the render distance in Distant Horizons settings to control how far terrain is visible. Higher distances show more terrain but require more processing power.

6. Close the settings and return to your world.

Performance Tuning

If performance drops significantly, reduce the Distant Horizons render distance or lower your regular render distance. The shader is optimized for older hardware, but extremely high DH distances may still impact frame rates. Test different settings to find your balance between visual range and smooth gameplay.
