Apply a Custom Trim Pattern to Your Armor

Gather Your Materials

First, collect the pattern item you want to use. Common options include Diamond Block for the Fool pattern, Lead for the Wanderer pattern, TNT for the Creep pattern, Dragon Head for the Dragon pattern, or Water Bucket for the Oasis pattern. You'll also need a color material—these can be food items like Cake or Cookie, mob drops like Blaze Rod or Slime Ball, or special items like Dragon's Breath or Echo Shard.

Apply the Trim

1. Open a Smithing Table

2. Place your armor piece in the left slot

3. Place your pattern item (e.g., Diamond Block) in the middle slot

4. Place your color material (e.g., Dragon's Breath) in the right slot

5. Collect your newly trimmed armor from the output slot

The armor will now display the custom pattern in your chosen color. You can repeat this process on multiple armor pieces to create a complete matching set. Different pattern items create distinctly different visual designs, so experiment to find the look you prefer.
