How to Fix Shared Placements Not Showing Up for You or Your Team

Most "it's not working" cases come down to one of three things: the mod is missing on one side, the schematic file is missing, or the placement is not actually shared.

Work through these in order

1. Confirm Syncmatica is installed on the server *and* on the client that cannot see the placement. The mod is required on both sides to function; a client without it can still play but gets no Syncmatica features.

2. Check that the placement was really published. Ask the owner to look at their placement list and verify the share is active and visible to your group.

3. Verify the schematic file. If you do not have the exact schematic the placement references, nothing will render. Get the same file, place it in your schematics folder, and reload Litematica.

4. Reload or rejoin. Placement data syncs on connection, so a fresh join often refreshes a stale list.

5. Check permissions. If sharing is restricted to certain ranks, a placement may exist but be hidden from you.

Compare notes with a teammate who *can* see it — if they can and you cannot, the difference is almost always your schematic file or your permissions, not the server.
