Troubleshooting Advancements That Won't Sync

Check Server Installation

First, verify the mod is actually installed on the server. Ask your server administrator to confirm the mod jar is in the mods folder and the server has been restarted since installation. The mod must run on the server side to function.

Verify Your Client Connection

Make sure you're connected to the server where the mod is installed. If you're playing single-player or on a different server, advancements won't sync. Check your server address in the multiplayer menu.

There may be a slight delay between when a player unlocks an advancement and when it appears for others. Give the server a few seconds to process and broadcast the change.

Check Advancement Criteria

Some advancements require specific conditions that may not have been met yet by anyone on the server. For example, defeating the Ender Dragon only syncs once someone actually defeats it. The advancement won't appear as complete until that condition is satisfied.

Restart if Needed

If advancements still aren't syncing after checking the above, try disconnecting and reconnecting to the server.
