Do I need to install this mod on the client side or just the server?
This is a server-side only mod, so you only need to install it on your server. Players connecting to the server do not need the mod installed on their client.
When one player gets an advancement, how long does it take for everyone else to get it?
Advancements sync instantly or near-instantly when unlocked by a player. If you're experiencing delays, check your server's tick rate and network connection.
Can I disable syncing for certain advancements?
The mod syncs all advancements by default. If you want to exclude specific advancements from syncing, you'll need to check your mod's configuration files for filtering options.
What happens if a player already had an advancement before the mod was installed?
Previously earned advancements are not retroactively synced to other players. Only advancements unlocked after the mod is active will sync across the server.
Does this mod work with custom advancement packs?
Yes, the mod syncs custom advancements from datapacks and other mods just like vanilla advancements. All advancement unlocks will be shared across your server.
Can players opt out of advancement syncing?
No, there is no per-player opt-out feature. When the mod is installed on the server, all advancements sync for everyone automatically.
Does syncing advancements also sync the rewards (like recipes or items)?
The mod syncs the advancement unlock itself, which means players receive any associated rewards (like recipe unlocks) when the advancement syncs to them.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues on my server?
The mod is lightweight and should have minimal performance impact. If you notice lag, it's more likely caused by other mods or server hardware rather than advancement syncing.
What happens if players are in different dimensions when an advancement is unlocked?
Dimension doesn't matter—advancements sync to all players on the server regardless of where they are or what they're doing.
Can I see which player unlocked each advancement in the shared tab?
The mod displays synced advancements in a shared tab, though the level of detail about who unlocked what depends on your mod's configuration and Minecraft's advancement UI.
