Use Switchy with Other Mods (RPGStats, Hexcasting, Origins)

Mod Compatibility and Preset Integration

Switchy is designed to work with other mods by storing and restoring their data when you switch presets. Mods like RPGStats, Hexcasting, and Origins can have their states saved per-preset.

When you switch presets, Switchy handles the data transfer automatically — you don't need special commands. However, compatibility depends on whether the mod integrates with Switchy.

Checking What's Saved

The data stored varies by mod:

• Origins: Your chosen origin and associated powers
• RPGStats: Character stats and progression
• Hexcasting: Hex data and spell states

Simply create a preset, configure these mods as desired, then switch presets to test. Your settings from the first preset will be restored when you switch back.

Tips

If a mod isn't storing data across preset switches, it may not have Switchy integration. Check the mod's documentation or the Switchy compatibility list. Some add-ons like Switchy Proxy and SwitchyKit extend functionality further for advanced setups.
