Manage Separate Inventories for Different Presets

Using Switchy Inventories Add-on

If you have Switchy Inventories installed, each preset can store a completely separate inventory. This means switching presets also switches what items you're carrying.

Inventories are automatically saved and loaded when you switch presets — no extra commands needed. Simply:

1. Create or switch to a preset

2. Gather items and arrange your inventory as desired

3. Switch to another preset

4. Your inventory changes to match that preset's stored items

5. Switch back, and your original inventory is restored

Practical Uses

This is especially useful for:

  • Roleplay servers: Keep combat gear in one preset, casual clothes in another
  • Different playstyles: Maintain a mining preset with tools and a building preset with blocks
  • Multiplayer organization: Each character has their own equipment without cluttering a shared storage

Inventories persist across sessions, so your items are safe even after logging off.
