Create and Switch Between Your First Presets

Setting Up a New Preset

Presets are the core of Switchy — they store your customizations separately so you can swap between different configurations instantly.

To create a preset, use the command:

`

/switchy preset create <preset_name>

`

Replace <preset_name> with something memorable, like survival or roleplay. This creates a new preset and saves your current player data (nickname, skin, inventory if using Switchy Inventories, etc.) to it.

Switching Between Presets

Once you have multiple presets, switch to one using:

`

/switchy preset switch <preset_name>

`

When you switch, Switchy automatically:

  • Saves your current state to the old preset
  • Loads the saved state from the new preset
  • Applies all stored customizations (nickname, pronouns, skin, etc.)

You can switch as often as you like. Each preset remembers exactly how you left it, making it easy to maintain different identities or configurations for different playstyles or servers.
