Harvest Trees Efficiently with One-Hit Felling

Activating Tree Felling

The timber mechanic is toggled on by default, but you can enable or disable it anytime with /timber. When active, chopping the base block of a tree with an axe will fell the entire tree—all connected wood blocks drop instantly.

Switching Between Felling and Single-Block Chopping

If you want to harvest just one block without felling the whole tree, sneak (hold Shift) while swinging your axe. This lets you collect specific logs without triggering the full tree drop. Sneaking overrides the timber mechanic temporarily.

Practical Harvesting

Use full-tree felling for quick wood gathering at your farm or when clearing land. Switch to sneaking when you need precise control—like harvesting lower branches without dropping the canopy. Admins can toggle timber for other players using /timber <player> if needed for server-wide settings.
