Adjust Your Distant Terrain View Distance

Access the Settings Menu

Open your mod settings or configuration screen. Swift Horizon Vistas Mod provides an in-game slider or numeric input for adjusting how far the distant terrain renders.

Change the Extra View Distance

Locate the view distance setting. You can increase it from the default 144 chunks up to 292 chunks for maximum horizon visibility, or reduce it down to 38 chunks if you need better performance.

Test and Optimize

After adjusting, load into your world and fly or climb to high ground to observe the change. Watch your frame rate and CPU usage—higher distances demand more processing power. If your frame rate drops significantly, reduce the distance incrementally until you find a balance between visual range and smooth gameplay.

Save Your Preference

Your setting persists across sessions once saved in the mod configuration. You can adjust it again anytime without restarting your world.
