How do I open the skill tree?
Press K on your keyboard to open the skill tree screen. If K is already bound to another action, you can rebind the key in your controls settings.
How do I get my first skill points?
You earn skill points by leveling up through normal survival gameplay—fighting mobs, mining blocks, and other activities grant experience. Once you level up, you'll have points available to spend in the Combat or Mining tabs.
Can I respec my skills if I make a mistake?
Yes, open the skill tree and go to the Reset tab to refund all your allocated points and reallocate them however you want. You can do this as many times as needed.
What's the difference between Combat and Mining skills?
Combat skills increase your attack power and defense against hostile mobs, while Mining skills boost your gathering speed and resource collection efficiency underground. You can invest in both paths or focus on one depending on your playstyle.
Do I have to choose between Combat and Mining, or can I do both?
You can invest skill points in both trees—there's no restriction forcing you to pick one path. You'll earn enough points over time to develop multiple skill lines if you want a balanced character.
Are the skill trees connected, or are they separate?
Each skill tree (Combat and Mining) has its own interconnected nodes that you progress through independently. You spend points within each tree separately, but both contribute to your overall character progression.
Does this mod work in multiplayer servers?
Yes, Survival Instinct Skills Mod works with multiplayer as long as the server has the mod installed. Each player's skill progression is tracked individually.
Will this mod conflict with other mods in my modpack?
The mod is designed to work cleanly with modpacks without interface text conflicts. However, if you're using other skill or progression mods, check compatibility before adding this one to avoid duplicate systems.
What language options are available?
