Share Your Map Exploration with Other Players
Initiating a Map Share
To share your explored map data with another player, use the sharing command system. Run /surveyor share [username] where [username] is the player you want to share with. This sends them a sharing request.
Accepting and Managing Shares
When another player requests to share with you, you'll receive a notification. Accept the request by running /surveyor share [username] back to them. Once both players have agreed, your map exploration data syncs between you—any terrain, structures, and landmarks you've discovered become visible to your sharing partner in real-time.
You can view your current sharing status with /surveyor to see who you're sharing with. If you want to stop sharing map data with everyone, use /surveyor unshare to leave your sharing group entirely. This breaks all active map shares and prevents further data synchronization.
What Gets Shared
Sharing transmits terrain data (including height, biome, and water depth), discovered structures with their full details, and any landmarks you've placed. Your partner sees exactly what you've explored, making coordination and navigation easier across your shared world.
