Search for Files Across Your Entire Resource Pack

Use the Search Bar Effectively

Resource packs contain hundreds of files. The built-in search bar helps you find exactly what you need without scrolling.

1. Open Options → Resource Packs

2. Click the Gear icon next to your pack

3. Click the search bar at the top of the file list

4. Type part of the file name—for example:

• "oak" to find all oak-related textures
• "door" to find door models and textures
• "particle" to find particle effect files

5. Results update live as you type

6. Toggle any matching file on or off

Tips for Better Searches

Search is case-insensitive and matches partial names, so "wood" finds "oak_wood", "dark_wood", and similar files. If you're unsure of exact file names, try searching for the block or item type. The mod shows file paths, so you can see the folder structure and understand where textures are organized.
