Starting Your Ghast Growth

To begin, obtain a Dried Ghast item and place it inside a sulfur cube. This creates a ghast cube with a clear shell. Carry or transport this cube to a water source—a river, ocean, or even a bucket of water works.

Hydration and Growth

Submerge the ghast cube completely in water. The cube will hydrate and spawn a baby Happy Ghast inside. The sulfur cube shell grows along with the ghast as it matures, protecting it while it develops.

Freeing Your Adult Ghast

Once the ghast reaches full size, use shears on the cube to break the shell and free the adult mob. You'll receive a giant tier 4 sulfur cube as a reward for completing the growth cycle.

Note: Keep the cube submerged or in a wet environment during growth. The happy ghast will remain contained until you choose to release it with shears.
