Create Light Sources with Glowing Cubes

Absorbing Glowing Blocks

Place a sulfur cube near a light-emitting block such as a Sea Lantern, Froglight, or other glowing block. The cube will absorb it and begin emitting light into your surroundings.

Using Light Cubes for Decoration and Navigation

Glowing cubes act as real light sources in your world, illuminating caves, pathways, and builds. They're useful for creating atmospheric lighting without needing torches or lanterns everywhere.

Placement Tips

Place light cubes strategically to prevent mob spawning in dark areas. Use them to mark safe paths through caves or to highlight important structures. Since they emit light in all directions, a single cube can illuminate a large area.

Advantage: Unlike torches, glowing cubes are more durable and create a cleaner aesthetic. You can also move them easily by picking them up and placing them elsewhere, making them ideal for temporary lighting during construction projects.
