What does the Subtly Glowing Ores pack actually change in my world?
It adds colored glowing outlines to vanilla ores and a few related blocks like raw ore blocks and Ancient Debris. The glow is purely visual and does not light up the area or affect other blocks.
How do I turn the glow on after installing the pack?
Just enable the resource pack in your pack selection screen and load into a world. The outlines appear automatically on the covered ores with no extra setup needed.
Which ores and blocks are covered by the glow?
Coal, Copper, Lapis Lazuli, Iron, Gold, Redstone, Diamond, and Emerald ores in both stone and deepslate variants, plus Nether Quartz, Nether Gold, Ancient Debris, and the raw iron, copper, and gold blocks.
Why does the glow look different on some ores than others?
Each ore uses its own color so you can identify it at a glance, which means the outline color matches the ore rather than being uniform. This is intentional and helps distinguish ores while caving.
Can I make the glow brighter or dimmer?

Does the glow actually light up caves like a torch?
No, the glow is only a visual outline on the ore blocks themselves and does not emit real light. Your surroundings stay as dark as they normally would.
