How to Change the Status Effect Display Style on the HUD and Inventory

Stylish Effects lets you pick a different widget style for the HUD and for container screens independently, so you can mix and match to taste.

Opening the config

Open the mod's config screen from the mod list, or use the in-game config keybind if one is bound. You'll see separate sections for the HUD widget and the inventory/container widget.

Choosing a widget mode

In each section, pick the widget mode you want. Options typically include the fancy Stylish Effects widget (with timer and amplifier), the vanilla-style widget, and a "none" option to hide effects entirely in that location. Set the HUD and inventory modes separately — for example, fancy on the HUD and vanilla in containers, or vice versa.

Applying and testing

Save the config and return to the game. Drink a potion or apply an effect to confirm the widget appears where you expect. If you hid effects in one location, verify they still show in the other. Tweak the mode again if the layout doesn't suit you — changes apply without restarting.
